This is number 1476 of 3500 made and is in its original box with documentation and even has the original handling glove.

The authentication certificate still has the royal seal and has not been opened.

It weighs in at 9 troy oz (307g) so selling for scrap silver value or for someone to add to a Royal Collection.

A wonderful solid sterling silver salver standing on four hoof feet and features a reeded bordered shaped rim.

Hallmarked in Birmingham, 1905/6, Elkington & Co.

Very nice Georgian silver salver with detailed fluted edge. Three shaped feet and stamped H.F&Co in rectangular box + Crown ( for Sheffield ) +Lion Passant Guardant +”C” for 1920 . Light scratches on surface ( seems to be from polishing) and one scratch near centre perhaps from item sitting on top ( its not deep and its hard to see unless you tilt the salver).12″ diameter. I don’t have scales ,but I would say it weighs approx 500grms .If anyone wants an exact weight I can take it to the post office and use their calibrated scales. Smoke and pet free home.

Not engraved or personalised in anyway.

Approx size:- 6" diameter.

Approx weight:- 95 grams.

Condition:- No dents or damage of any kind. Some surface marks/black spots commensurate with age.

This is a beautiful antique hallmarked solid sterling silver tray measuring 12" (31 cms) x 9" (23 cms). It is hallmarked for London 1900 with the silversmiths mark for William Comyns. It is beautifully decorated with the Joshua Reynolds ‘Choir of Angels’ and is in superb condition with no damage, It weighs 242 grams – there are no engravings or monograms and the pictures really don’t do it justice – it’s a lovely item. RARE 1843 William Bateman I London Sterling Silver Footed Salver Card Tray

Hello bidders. Up for bid today is a truly stunning estate fresh tray by William Bateman I of London England circa 1843. This is a stunning salver or card tray. Supported on three legs with an underturned foot. Has a stunning shell scalloped border with an engraved field with a monogram of J & SJC to E E C. The salver is marked to the backside with the mark of William Bateman as well as the lion passant, leopard head London mark, date code letter H for 1843 and the Queen Victoria I duty mark. The tray is in beautiful condition with very strong engraving to the field and no broken, repaired or dinged areas. The plate has a nice bit of history as it has a label showing that this was presented by John Ching and Sarah Jane Lawrence to his sister Elizabeth Eckley Ching from Devon I believe. The tray measures 7 1/2" across and weighs in at 9.09 troy ounces or 282.2 grams. This is a beautiful tray and these are quite hard to find as many of them have been melted.
